He teaches drama and literature to post-secondary students and has just completed a term at Emily Carr in Vancouver and the University of Calgary.Pamela Brown Pamela Brown pens for Peterborough publications "The Link," "Tough Drum" and the "Community Press." In the past she's written just about everything including theatre, short film, poetry and to date - several unpublished short stories.Cameron Esler Cameron Esler has recently published "Neruda Resistance Riffs" with littlefishcart press. His poem, "Lovesick Lake Couples Curling," was a nominee at the National Magazine Awards. "Between Midnight and the Rooster's Crow," a film he shot and edited, won Best Canadian Documentary at the Hot Docs Festival last month.Sara Berniker Sara Berniker spends her days writing stories about hitmen and things that go bump in the night. When she's not glued to her Remington portable, Sara works at Have You Seen--the best damn alternative video store in Canada. The rigors of a writing life have made her reclusive and strange, but she doesn't mind one bit. Her short-story "Aqua Velva Smitty" appeared in the October issue of Playboy, having won their college fiction contest. She's also sold fiction and poetry to a number of small-press publications, including NFG, Albedo One, Macabre, Mudrock: Stories and Tales, Fusing Horizons, Agony in Black, and Not One of Us. |
