| Evie Christie Evie Christie lives in Toronto. Her first collection of poetry, Gutted, was published by ECW Press in October of 2005 with the support of the Ontario Arts Council. She is currently working on a second collection of poetry tentatively titled Homecoming and Heart Monitor with the generous support of the Toronto Arts Council. Evie has published in many Canadian literary journals including Taddle Creek, Matrix Magazine, and Kiss Machine. She has been a guest on Myna Wallin’s radio program, Between the Lines and has also reviewed for The Women’s Post.

| Susan L. Helwig SUSAN L. HELWIG grew up on a farm just outside of Neustadt, Ontario. Her work has appeared in various literary magazines and anthologies, most recently Idea Factory Magazine and Canadian Woman Studies. Her second collection, Pink Purse Girl, was published by Wolsak and Wynn in the fall of 2006. She lives in the Greektown-Danforth area of Toronto.
For several years Susan Helwig produced and hosted In other words at CKLN-FM in Toronto. Her work has been widely published and anthologized throughout North America, from ACTA victoriana to Zygote. She nourishes her musical appetite by singing in the alto section of the Toronto Choral Society and coaxing pop tunes from her 1911 Martin Orme piano at home. Her first book, Catch the Sweet, was published to great acclaim in 2001. Her second collection, Pink Purse Girl, was launched by Wolsak and Wynn in September 2006.

| Caro Soles Caro Soles is the founder of Bloody Words, Canada's annual mystery convention. Her work includes The Tangled Boy (mystery) and The Abulon Dance (science fiction) as well as two short story collections and six novels under a nom de plume. Advance praise calls Caro’s new sf book, The Danger Dance, (January 2007) "sublimely satisfying". Her new mystery, Drag Queen in the Court of Death, (February 2007) is an InsightOut Book Club selection. Caro's short stories have been published in many anthologies and gay magazines and she received the Derrick Murdoch award from the Crime Writers of Canada in 2002. She teaches writing at George Brown College.
